Write a new article with AutoArticle AI (the AutoArticle AI plugin is required)

OnlyAI SEO cannot write new articles on its own. It needs the separate AutoArticle AI plugin installed, active, connected and subscribed. How to set it up, brief an article, write several in a row, and finish the draft.

Step 1: install and connect AutoArticle AI

1. Get the plugin and a subscription at autoarticleai.com.
2. In WordPress open Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, upload the AutoArticle AI zip, Install and Activate it.
3. Open AutoArticle AI's own settings and enter your AutoArticle AI key.
4. Use version 2.5.466 or newer. Version 2.5.467 or newer is recommended, because older versions can turn down an evergreen topic as "old".

Step 2: check it from OnlyAI SEO

Open OnlyAI SEO, Settings. The Integrations line shows whether AutoArticle AI is installed and connected and how many coins are left. If it says "Not installed or too old", install or update it first. Nothing more to configure: the buttons appear by themselves.

Step 3: brief one article

Press Write with AutoArticle AI: under any published post in the posts list, beside Add New, or on the Overview (card New article with AutoArticle AI). A form asks for:

• Topic (required) and a focus keyword.
• Words (600 to 2,500), style (how-to, list, comparison, review, opinion, or let AutoArticle AI choose), search intent and language.
• Search queries the article should cover, and questions readers ask, answered early.
• An outline (main sections in order) and notes (audience, tone, things to avoid).
• Up to six links to your own posts (searched as you type; links to other sites are not accepted).
• A category, and Accurate mode, which asks the writer to be strict about every number, name and date. The normal fact check always runs.

The more you fill in, the more aimed the article. A topic and a keyword is enough to start.

Step 4: wait for the draft

Press Save and write. Two to six minutes later you have a draft. A banner at the top of the screen keeps the job in view even if you reload or open another page, and says when the draft is ready, with Edit draft and Preview. If your host cannot run the background job, WP-Cron or the open page starts it. A job that does not finish in ten minutes is reported as timed out. Only one article is written at a time.

Step 5: finish the draft

1. Open the draft. In the posts list it carries a small AI draft badge and its OnlyAI SEO score.
2. Read it as an editor would. Check names, numbers and claims. Add your own experience and a real image.
3. Press 1-click SEO for the title, description, URL, alt text, table of contents, FAQ, links and tags.
4. Publish it yourself. The result is always a draft. Nothing is published or scheduled for you.
5. After publishing, run 1-click SEO again to see the older posts that should link to it.

Write several articles in a row

1. Pick topics on Content Ideas, in the Inbox, or on the Evergreen Renewer page (type one topic per line, up to 15).
2. Press Write the selected with AutoArticle AI.
3. They are written one after another, never two at once, each saved as a draft. You get one email when the last is done, listing every draft and anything that did not work.

A daily limit (5 by default) stops a batch from spending your whole AutoArticle AI subscription at once. If AutoArticle AI is busy, the queue waits and tries again. Topics too close to a recent job or an existing post title are skipped.

What each plugin is responsible for

• OnlyAI SEO: decides what to write (from your Search Console data and gaps), builds the brief, shows progress, then scores and polishes the draft.
• AutoArticle AI: research, outline, writing, fact check, quality gates and SEO fields, with its own key, coins and subscription. The brief goes from your site to AutoArticle AI under its own terms, not through OnlyAI Cloud, and does not use your OnlyAI Cloud requests.

If something goes wrong

• The button says to install AutoArticle AI. It is not installed, not active, or older than 2.5.466. Install or update it.
• The button links to AutoArticle AI's settings. It is installed but not connected. Enter your key.
• Not enough coins. Top up in AutoArticle AI; the Integrations line shows what is left.
• "A second article cannot start". One is still being written. Wait for the banner.
• Timed out after ten minutes. Try again; nothing was published.
