Free SEO score checker

Paste your page's title, description, keyword and text. You get a score out of 100, a preview of how it looks in Google, the things to fix first and the words you use most. It is the same scoring engine as the free OnlyAI SEO plugin, and it runs in your browser.

0 characters. Aim for 30 to 60.

0 characters. Aim for about 70 to 160.

0 words

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.

How to use it

  1. Type the SEO title and meta description you plan to use (or want to test).
  2. Enter the URL ending and the focus keyword: the phrase a person would type into Google. Add synonyms if you have them.
  3. Paste your text. Plain text works; use ## for headings, [text](address) for links and ![alt](image) for images, or paste HTML.
  4. Press Check my page. Fix the red items first, then the amber ones. Press a check to see why it matters.

How to read the score

  • Good: 80 or more. Needs polish: 55 to 79. Needs work: under 55.
  • The score blends four areas: basic SEO, content, readability and AI readiness (how easy it is for an AI assistant to find and quote an answer).
  • It is a guide to obvious gaps, not a ranking promise. Read how to use scores.

Frequently asked questions

Is the SEO score checker really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no limit and no card. It runs entirely in your browser.

Does it send my text anywhere?

No. The scoring runs in your browser with the same engine as the OnlyAI SEO plugin. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.

What does it check?

Four areas. Basic SEO: title and description length, the keyword in the title, description, first 100 words, a subheading and the URL, how often it is used, and URL length. Content: length, subheadings, images and internal and outside links. Readability: how easy the text is to read. AI readiness: an answer-first intro, a direct definition, question headings or an FAQ, and lists or tables that an AI assistant can quote.

Does it understand word forms and synonyms?

Yes. A keyword such as "mechanical keyboard" is found in "mechanical keyboards", and you can add up to five synonyms that count the same way.

Will a high score make my page rank?

No score can promise that. It finds obvious gaps (a missing description, a keyword that never appears, very long paragraphs) so you fix those first. Ranking also depends on the quality of the page, links and competition.

How is this different from the plugin?

The plugin applies the same scoring to every post on your WordPress site, ranks the fixes across the whole site, keeps scores up to date as you save, and can fix the basics with 1-click SEO. This page checks one page you paste.
