New in v2.24.2An SEO assistant for WordPress

01 / What it does

Fourteen jobs, in plain words.

A WordPress plugin and a small cloud service. The plugin does the measuring on your own site; the cloud only runs when you press a button that needs an AI answer.

01

A score for every post

Scoring

See the SEO score of each post right in All Posts and Pages, with filters, sorting and a one-click bulk re-score.

02

The next best fix

Guidance

The Overview ranks what to fix by impact and time, and answers questions about your site in a built-in chat.

03

Editor sidebar and 1-click SEO

Editor

Focus keyword, a Google preview and checks grouped by topic, plus a top-bar button that fixes titles, descriptions, URL, alt text and FAQ in one tap, with undo.

04

Search Console insights

Research

Quick wins, titles that earn too few clicks, pages competing for one query and posts losing traffic.

05

AI help when you ask

Writing

Titles, meta descriptions, keyword and content ideas, link suggestions, image alt text and repurposed copy.

06

Visible to AI search

Visibility

llms.txt, Markdown copies, per-crawler rules, article and FAQ structured data, and breadcrumbs so engines can read and cite your posts.

07

Indexing and sitemaps

Technical

XML, news and video sitemaps, IndexNow pings and Google index status for each post.

08

Titles, robots and share cards

On-page

Templates for the titles and descriptions of every kind of page, noindex and canonical per page or per archive, a robots.txt editor that checks the file before it is saved, up to five focus keywords per page with a warning when two posts use the same one, WooCommerce clean-up for cart, filtered and product pages, archive clean-up, SEO columns with quick and bulk edit in your post list, an HTML sitemap, and the card shown when a link is shared.

09

Redirects and a 404 monitor

Site health

301, 302, 307 and 410 rules with regex, a log of the broken addresses people really hit, an automatic redirect when a post's address changes, and visible breadcrumbs.

10

Identity, local business and how-to

Trust

Logo, social profiles and author details for the knowledge panel, a local-business address with opening hours, Product, Recipe, Event, Review, Course, Video and Software application data for rich results, video data taken from the YouTube and Vimeo embeds already in your posts, a How-to block, and alt text and link rules.

11

Previews, readability and a setup checklist

Editor

See the share card and the structured data of a page while you write, add your own JSON-LD, get live readability guidance, and follow a short checklist to finish setting up. Big jobs also run from WP-CLI.

12

Roles and multilingual sites

Teams

Give editors the right to manage redirects, the agent Inbox or the advanced SEO fields without making them administrators, and use it on Polylang and WPML sites with translated titles and language-aware data.

13

Switch from Yoast or Rank Math

Migration

Import titles, descriptions, focus keywords, noindex flags, canonicals, social cards and redirects from Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress or Redirection. Preview first; nothing you already wrote is overwritten.

14

Agents that propose, you decide

Control

Six agents (Refresher, Keyword Scout, Link Builder, Auditor, AI Visibility and a weekly Rank Digest) read your own data and leave proposals in an Inbox. None changes anything until you press its button, and nothing is ever published.

02 / Release notes

What changed lately, no marketing varnish.

2.24.2

Latest

An upgrade prompt when today's AI requests run out

  • When the daily limit is used, every AI feature says so plainly and offers an Upgrade button: how long until the next request frees up, the next plan, its price and what it gives
  • An "Out of AI requests" notice with the same button appears on every OnlyAI SEO page the moment the last request is used, and "Running low" shows when 20% or less is left

2.24.1

Every AI request counted and logged

  • OnlyAI Cloud now counts a request before the AI runs and settles it afterwards, so a request that is cut off is never lost, and failed requests are logged but do not use your allowance
  • Each request tells the cloud which feature it was for (1-click SEO, Content ideas, ...), so the cloud's log matches Settings, Where my AI requests went

2.24

Automatic video data, same-keyword warning, WooCommerce, software schema

  • Pages that embed a YouTube or Vimeo video get video structured data automatically (title, description, thumbnail, date, player), with no panel to fill in. One switch to turn it off; a page you set to Video by hand is left alone
  • A warning in the editor when the main or an extra keyword is already used by another post, naming that post, so two pages do not compete for one phrase
  • WooCommerce: Cart, Checkout and My account stay out of search and the sitemap, sorted and filtered shop pages are noindex, products share as products with price and stock, and product breadcrumbs include Shop and the category
  • Software application in the Rich result panel (desktop, mobile or web app) with price and ratings
  • Fixed: All Posts and All Pages could hang on sites with many posts. The Links column no longer searches every post for every row on every load; it fills in from one link index a moment after the page appears
  • The Google indexing script and the Google News sitemap are tested and documented (new Sitemaps & indexing page)

2.23

More focus keywords, a safe robots.txt editor, three more rich results

  • Up to four more focus keywords per page, each with its own checklist (title, description, URL, opening, subheading, usage). The page score still follows the main keyword. Imported from Rank Math, SEOPress, Yoast Premium and All in One SEO
  • A robots.txt editor in Settings that reads your file the way Google does and tests it against your home page, sitemap, latest posts, CSS, scripts and images before saving. Typos, rules before any User-agent line and a blocked home page are caught; test any address for any crawler; restore the previous version
  • Review, Course and Video rich results in the Rich result panel. A YouTube link fills in its own thumbnail, and nothing is printed until every field Google needs is present

2.22

One AI request per action, and role defaults

  • Every AI button uses exactly one cloud request, however much it fills in: 1-click SEO writes the keyword, title, description, every image's alt text and the FAQ in a single request. Buttons say so, the 1-click result shows how many you have left, and Settings lists where your requests went
  • The same request can no longer be sent twice at once (double click, two tabs), a failed request is never counted, and asking the Inbox for a brief you already have shows the saved one
  • New right "AI help". Out of the box Authors see no OnlyAI SEO controls beyond the basic fields and the score, Editors get AI help, the Inbox and the advanced fields, and administrators have everything. Enforced on the server, changeable in Who can do what

2.21

Role manager and multilingual sites

  • Who can do what: give a role the right to manage everything, redirects and 404s, the agent Inbox, or the advanced SEO fields. Administrators always keep all of them; only an administrator can change who has what
  • Each person sees only the sections they may open, and the editor locks the advanced fields for people without that right
  • Polylang and WPML: translatable templates, each page's own language in Open Graph and structured data, same-language internal link suggestions, a per-language HTML sitemap and AI text in the content's language
  • Fixed: the readability panel always used the English checks, and redirects now work on the real site address under a language prefix or domain

2.20

Previews, readability, setup checklist, redirect import

  • A Previews & data panel in the editor: the share card on Facebook, LinkedIn and X, the structured data the page prints, a Rich Results Test link, and a box for your own JSON-LD
  • A live Readability panel: reading ease, long sentences and paragraphs, passive voice, linking words, repeated sentence starts and missing subheadings (guidance only; the score does not change)
  • A Getting set up checklist at the top of Settings that ticks itself off
  • Copy the redirects saved by Redirection, Rank Math or Yoast SEO Premium in one click; answer a trashed post's address with 410 or a 301 (off by default)
  • WP-CLI commands for big sites: import, score, redirects and settings

2.19

Post-list columns, quick and bulk edit, archive clean-up

  • SEO title, meta description, focus keyword and link-count columns in All Posts and All Pages (switch them on in Screen Options), with title and description lengths and a flag on posts nothing links to
  • Quick Edit gets the SEO title, description, focus keyword, hide-from-search and cornerstone; Bulk Edit can hide or show many posts in search and mark them as cornerstone
  • Archive hygiene: noindex empty archives, and turn off date, author or post-format archives with a 301 to the home page
  • An HTML sitemap for visitors: [onlyai_sitemap], grouped by main category, honouring noindex

2.18.1

Import built for big sites

  • Importing from Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress is a four-step flow that saves its place on the server, so a closed tab or a dropped connection resumes where it stopped, with real progress and automatic retries
  • Skipped posts are kept as a list with a CSV download; scores are updated in a separate step instead of during the copy
  • Scores are no longer thrown away on every release, only when the scoring rules change

2.18

Rich results, cornerstone pages, settings backup

  • A Rich result panel for Product, Recipe and Event data. It prints only when everything Google requires is filled in, and tells you what is missing
  • Cornerstone content: mark your key pages and the Link Builder agent links to them first
  • Main category for posts in several categories: used in breadcrumbs, structured data and share cards
  • Export your title, robots, social, identity and schema settings and import them on another site (no keys, no posts)

2.17

Identity, local business, how-to

  • Logo, contact details and social profiles go into the organisation data search engines use for knowledge panels
  • Local business: address, phone, price range, map position and opening hours as LocalBusiness data on the home page, plus a shortcode to show them on a page
  • Authors get a job title and social links on their profile; articles carry them, and author pages print a ProfilePage
  • A How-to block with HowTo step data, which also works next to Yoast or Rank Math
  • Fill missing image alt text when a page is shown, and set links to other sites to open in a new tab or carry nofollow

2.16

Redirects, 404 monitor, breadcrumbs

  • Redirects: 301, 302, 307, 410 and 451, matching one address, a prefix or a regular expression with back-references. Rules are checked on save: no self-redirects, chains flattened, cycles refused
  • 404 monitor: the broken addresses visitors and crawlers actually hit, most requested first, with a one-click Redirect
  • When a published post's address changes, the old address is redirected to the new one automatically
  • Breadcrumbs as a block, a shortcode and a template function; the page and the search-engine data now use the same trail

2.15

Titles, robots and share cards

  • Templates for the titles and descriptions of the home page, every content type, categories and tags, authors, dates, search and 404, with variables and a separator you choose. Empty means unchanged
  • Noindex, nofollow, no cached copy, no snippet and a canonical URL on any post; noindex whole content types or archives. Noindexed pages also leave the sitemap
  • SEO title, description and noindex on every category and tag
  • Open Graph and X cards on posts, pages, the home page, archives and authors, with a per-post share title, description and image and a site default
  • Image attachment pages can be sent to their post, and every RSS item gets a credit line that links back to you
  • The importer now also carries noindex and nofollow flags, canonical URLs and social cards, so a page you hid from search stays hidden

2.14

Import from other SEO plugins

  • Settings, Import copies SEO titles, meta descriptions and focus keywords from Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress, even after the old plugin is switched off
  • Preview first: it counts what would change and writes nothing. A real run goes in small batches and never overwrites a field you already filled in
  • The site name, post title, separator and year carry over as live tokens. A title with a variable that cannot be converted is skipped and listed for you
  • Not copied: redirects, noindex and canonical settings, schema and social-card fields

2.13.2

Add this link, fixed

  • Link Builder's Add this link button in the Inbox now adds the link; before, it answered "already added" without doing anything
  • The plugin name, description and readme now describe only what it does: six suggest-only agents, scoring, 1-click SEO and AI help on request
  • The older AI Visibility card is now called Answer Publisher, so it is not confused with the AI Visibility agent

2.13.1

Connect button fixed

  • On Settings, the Connect button for OnlyAI Cloud now works and always says what happened; before, it could stay silent
  • Disconnect, Save changes, Clear stored scores, the Google app form and Sync from Google now had the same fault and work again

2.13

Four more agents

  • Link Builder: finds posts that never mention a related post where the words for a link are already in the text, and adds each link only when you press its button
  • Auditor: checks the site itself, from "discourage search engines" and plain permalinks to duplicate titles, orphan posts and missing pictures, and closes each finding once you fix it
  • AI Visibility: checks that ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can find and read you, and picks the posts that earn the most but are hardest for an AI to quote
  • Rank Digest: once a week, who rose, who fell, who left the top ten, and how your clicks moved
  • Still suggest-only: they read your site and leave proposals in the Inbox, and nothing changes until you click

2.12

1-click SEO

  • A button at the top right of the editor that fixes what is failing: focus keyword, SEO title, meta description, a shorter meaningful URL, image alt text, body H1s, a table of contents and an FAQ block from your question headings
  • Everything happens in the editor only. Nothing is saved until you press Update, and Undo everything puts every value back
  • A report shows what changed, the score before and after, and what still needs your own words
  • Published posts only get a URL suggestion, since that address is already out in the world
  • With OnlyAI Cloud connected, one request writes the wording from your post; without it, plain rules do the work

2.11

FAQ block and structured data

  • An FAQ block for the editor: readers open and close the answers, it follows your theme, and the questions become FAQPage data
  • Schema for every post and page: the site and publisher, an Article, Blog post or News article with author, dates and image, and a breadcrumb trail
  • A Schema panel in the editor to give one post another type, or none
  • Steps aside when Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress or The SEO Framework prints its own graph, so you never get two
  • Honest note: Google now shows FAQ rich results only for a few kinds of sites. Other engines and AI assistants still read the markup

2.10

Agents with an Inbox

  • An Inbox where your agents leave proposals. Nothing changes until you click, and a dismissed proposal is not raised again for 30 days
  • Refresher: finds posts losing clicks, slipping in rank, carrying an old year in the title or simply ageing, with the evidence
  • Keyword Scout: finds searches you already show up for that no page of yours covers, and pages missing their focus keyword
  • Ask AI for a brief on any proposal with one cloud request; optional daily briefs for your top three, off by default
  • On AI Updates, "Review update" used to just mark the item done. It now opens the post, and "Mark as done" says what it does

2.9

A new look, and honest numbers

  • Every screen redrawn: warm paper, black ink, one red pencil and a yellow highlighter. No purple gradients, no glow, no sparkles
  • The score is a dial with tick marks, and a small framed stamp with a meter in All Posts and Pages
  • The fonts ship inside the plugin, so your admin never calls Google Fonts
  • The AI request count says what really happens: a rolling 24 hours, not a reset at midnight
  • The Table of Contents block takes your theme's text colour instead of imposing indigo on your visitors

2.8

Your SEO buddy

  • An SEO score for every post right in All Posts and Pages, with filters, sorting and bulk re-score
  • An Overview that ranks your next best actions and answers questions in a built-in chat
  • AI titles, meta descriptions, keyword and content ideas through free OnlyAI Cloud
  • Content Insights with a where-to-start tip and one-click AI title rewrites
  • Autopilot that never edits an existing post: ranking drops and ageing posts are queued for your review

2.7.0

Editor sidebar and Table of Contents

  • New sidebar: score dial, Analysis / Preview / AI Search tabs and checks grouped by topic, each with a why-it-matters note
  • Focus keyword field right in the Post sidebar, with suggestions from your title and top Google queries
  • Google result preview for desktop and mobile, with your own SEO title and meta description
  • Table of Contents block and [onlyai_toc] shortcode: nested jump links, collapsible, fully styleable
  • A separate AI readiness score for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini

2.6.0

AI Visibility

  • llms.txt and llms-full.txt so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot can cite you
  • Clean Markdown copy of every post, announced in the page head
  • Per-crawler robots.txt controls: allow answer engines, block training bots
  • AI crawler activity log for the last 30 days
  • Fast Google indexing tool with quota tracking and watch mode

2.5.0

XML, news and video sitemaps

  • Full XML sitemap at /sitemap_index.xml with image entries and accurate lastmod
  • Google News sitemap, refreshed every 15 minutes, and a video sitemap
  • Noindexed and password-protected posts excluded automatically
  • Steps aside if Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO or SEOPress is active
