Rank Math is a feature-rich SEO plugin that gives a lot away for free. OnlyAI SEO takes a different angle: it tells you what to fix first across the whole site and has agents that make suggestions you approve. This page compares them fairly.
The short version
- Choose Rank Math if you want one plugin with a very broad toolbox, a large schema library and unlimited focus keywords, and you are comfortable configuring a lot.
- Choose OnlyAI SEO if you want a clear order of work (which post to fix next and why), suggest-only agents for old and underperforming posts, and a plugin that stays out of the way until you press a button.

Where OnlyAI SEO is different
- One ranked to-do list instead of a module for everything: the Overview names the next fix and how long it takes.
- Suggest-only agents. Refresher, Keyword Scout, Link Builder, Auditor, AI Visibility, Rank Digest, Evergreen Renewer, CTR Fixer, Link & 404 Keeper and Cannibalization Resolver leave proposals in an Inbox. Nothing changes until you press a button (the one opt-in exception is scheduled evergreen renewals on the paid plans, with Undo).
- AI search visibility built in: llms.txt, Markdown copy of every post, per-crawler robots rules and a count of AI crawler visits.
- Safe file editing: a robots.txt editor and an .htaccess editor that test your home page, newest post and login page and put the old file back if a change breaks the site.
Where Rank Math is the better choice
- A much larger schema library and unlimited focus keywords.
- A broad set of modules in one plugin that you switch on as you need them.
- A bigger community, more tutorials and years of track record.
- A free plan that already includes redirections and many modules.
Switching from Rank Math
You do not have to choose in one go. OnlyAI SEO can be installed next to Rank Math: it scores your posts and gives you the ranked list of fixes straight away, and it prints title and description tags only once the other SEO plugin is deactivated, so nothing is printed twice.
- Install and activate OnlyAI SEO. The setup guide opens (every step can be skipped).
- Open OnlyAI SEO, Settings, Import. It reads Rank Math's saved data and shows a preview first. Nothing is written until you confirm, and a field you already filled in is never overwritten.
- Deactivate Rank Math when the preview looks right. OnlyAI SEO takes over the title and description tags. Rank Math's redirections are kept in its own table: export them first (OnlyAI SEO's Redirects page can also import redirects from Rank Math) and check they work.
Copied: each post's SEO title, meta description, focus keyword, noindex and nofollow flags, canonical URL and social card. Not copied: redirects, structured data you set up by hand, and category or tag settings, so check those before you deactivate the old plugin. More in the FAQ.
