Short answers to the questions people ask first.
Which AI runs the requests?
Requests go to AutoArticle AI (autoarticleai.com), our own content engine, which chooses the model. The plugin never needs, and cannot use, an AI key of your own.
Is my content used to train models?
OnlyAI does not use your prompts or posts to train models. The text you ask about is sent to the AI engine only to answer that request.
What does the plugin send to the cloud?
Only what the button you pressed needs: for a title or description idea, the post's title and a short summary; for link suggestions, the article text you chose; for the chat, your question with your site name, its score counts and the titles of your weakest posts. Scoring, the Overview and the review queue run on your own site.
What counts as a request?
Each generate, analyze, link-suggestions, repurpose or image-alt call, and each prompt inside a batch call. Failed requests are not counted.
How is my API key stored?
Copy it from Dashboard, API keys at any time while you are signed in (the page never displays it, the Copy key button puts it on your clipboard), and use the same key on other sites if you like. Keys are checked by a SHA-256 hash, and a second copy is stored encrypted so you can copy it later. Keys made before 2026-10-10 were stored only as a hash and cannot be copied: create a new key and revoke the old one. If a key leaks, revoke it.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan has 10 AI requests a day for the account (all your keys and sites share them) and needs no card.
What happens at the daily limit?
The API answers 429 and the plugin shows the message. The limit counts a rolling 24 hours, so requests free up as they age out. Upgrade under Dashboard, Billing to raise it.
Will it change my posts by itself?
No. Scores, checks and suggestions are read-only. Ranking drops and ageing posts are added to a review queue for you; AI text is written into a post only when you press apply.
Can I switch from Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress?
Yes. In WordPress open OnlyAI SEO, Settings, Import. It copies each post's SEO title, meta description, focus keyword, noindex and nofollow flags, canonical URL and social card, reading the other plugin's saved data, so the old plugin can already be off. Preview first; it never overwrites a field you already filled in. Redirects, schema and category or tag settings are not copied. OnlyAI SEO prints title and description tags only once the other SEO plugin is deactivated.
What happens to my old links if I change a post's address?
If the post is published, OnlyAI SEO redirects the old address to the new one with a 301 automatically. You can switch that off, add your own rules, and see the broken addresses people actually hit, under OnlyAI SEO, Redirects.
How do I cancel?
Email [email protected] from your account address. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Why do I see a 503?
OnlyAI Cloud is not available right now: it is restarting or not fully set up. Try again in a little while. Posts and scores on your site are not affected.
