Identity, local business, authors and how-to
Open OnlyAI SEO, Settings, Identity & business. Everything there is optional and printed only if you fill it in. If Yoast, Rank Math or another SEO plugin prints your structured data, OnlyAI SEO leaves these to it (except the How-to block, which they do not know).
The site
Add a logo, a contact email and phone, and links to your social profiles. They go into the organisation (or person) data on every page as the logo, email, telephone and sameAs links. That is the data search engines use to recognise one brand across the web and to build knowledge panels, and AI assistants read it too. A logo you choose replaces the one taken from your theme.
Local business
For a shop, clinic, restaurant or office that people visit or call, switch on Local business and fill in the kind of business, the address, phone, price range, map position (latitude and longitude) and opening hours. The home page then carries a LocalBusiness record (or the subtype you picked) tied to your organisation. To show the same details to visitors, put [onlyai_business] on a page.
Authors
Each user's profile screen (Users, Profile) has a job title and links to their social profiles. Their biography and website from the same screen are used too. Articles then carry the author as a named person with those details, and the author's archive page prints a profile page. Real, linked authors are how experience and expertise show up in structured data.
How-to block
In the editor add How-to from the OnlyAI SEO group. Give it a title, an optional description and total time, and the steps (a name and what to do for each). Visitors see a numbered list that follows your theme; search engines and AI assistants get the steps as HowTo data. Switch the data off per block if you only want the list.
Product, recipe, event, review, course, video and software data
In the editor open Rich result in the Post tab and choose what the page is: a Product (price, currency, availability, brand, rating), a Recipe (ingredients, steps, times, calories), an Event (date, venue or online address, tickets), a Review (what is reviewed, your rating on any scale, reviewer, pros and cons for products), a Course (provider, format, hours, price) a Video (a YouTube or Vimeo link or a video file; a YouTube thumbnail, the length as 4:30 and the upload date are filled in for you) or Software or app (desktop, mobile or web app with category, systems, version, price and a rating from real users). The matching structured data is printed only when every field Google needs for that rich result is filled in (a recipe also needs a featured image), and the panel lists what is still missing, so an unfinished page never produces invalid markup. Only add a rating if it comes from real reviews, and review something other than your own business: Google does not show stars for reviews of the site owner's own business.
Video data without any typing
A post that already embeds a YouTube or Vimeo video (an embed block, a pasted link or an iframe) gets video structured data on its own: the post title, the excerpt (or the first words of the page) as the description, YouTube's thumbnail (a Vimeo video uses the featured image, and is skipped when there is none), the post date and the player address. Up to three videos per page. A page set to Video in the Rich result panel is left exactly as you wrote it, and one switch inSettings, Schema & FAQ turns the automatic data off.
Previews, structured data and your own JSON-LD
In the editor, Previews & data shows how the page will look when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn and X (from the share fields, the SEO title and description, the featured image and your default share image), lists the structured data the page prints, and links to Google's Rich Results Test once the post is published. Below it is a box for your own JSON-LD: it is checked when you save (valid JSON, each item with an @type, 20 KB at most) and printed safely; an invalid box is cleared on save.
Readability
The Readability panel checks reading ease, long sentences, long paragraphs, passive voice, linking words (however, so, because), sentences that all start the same way, and long stretches without a subheading. It updates as you write. It is guidance only and does not change the score; the English-only checks are skipped when the site language is not English.
Cornerstone pages and main category
- Cornerstone content. In the Search & social panel, mark the pages that matter most. The Link Builder agent suggests links to them first.
- Main category. When a post is in several categories, pick the one that leads. It is used in the breadcrumbs, the article section in structured data, the share card and the
%category%variable.
Copy settings to another site
Settings, Copy settings to another site exports the titles, robots, social, identity, schema and redirect options as one file and imports it on another site. API keys, Google access, redirects and posts are never included, and everything imported is checked the same way as saving by hand.
Images and links
- Missing alt text. Choose to fill it from the post title or from a cleaned-up file name. It is applied when the page is shown; your saved posts do not change, an alt text you wrote is never replaced, and images you marked as decorative are skipped.
- Links to other sites. Open them in a new tab (with
rel="noopener") and/or addrel="nofollow". Links you marked sponsored or ugc are left as they are. Nofollow on every outside link is rarely right: use it only when you need it.
