From idea to ranked post: using OnlyAI SEO and AutoArticle AI together
12 October 2026 · 2 min read
A practical workflow that uses both plugins: find a topic, brief it, write it, polish it, link it, and refresh it later, with a person approving every step that matters.
Used on their own, each plugin does one thing well. Used together they cover the whole life of a post: choosing it, writing it, finishing it and keeping it alive. This is the workflow we use, with a person in charge at every step that matters.
1. Find the topic
Keyword Scout reads your Search Console data and proposes searches you already show up for but have no page for. Content Ideas and the Inbox hold topics worth writing. Tick the ones you like (or type one topic per line on the Evergreen Renewer page, up to 15).
2. Write it
- For one important article, use Write with AutoArticle AI: fill in the brief (keyword, questions, outline, links to your own posts) so the article is aimed, not generic.
- For several topics, press Write the selected with AutoArticle AI. They are written one after another, never two at once, each saved as a draft. You get one email when the last is done, listing every draft and anything that did not work. A daily limit (5 by default) stops a batch from spending your whole AutoArticle AI subscription at once.
3. Finish it
Open the draft (look for the AI draft badge). Read it as an editor would: check names, numbers and claims, add your own experience, add a real image. Then press 1-click SEO: it sets the title, description, URL and alt text, adds the table of contents and FAQ, links to your related posts and adds tags. What it cannot honestly do (a keyword in a subheading, a missing image) it lists for you.
4. Connect it to the rest of the site
Once you publish, run 1-click SEO again. It shows the older posts that should link to the new one; add the links that make sense. Check that Search Console is connected so the new post shows up in your numbers, and consider telling Google about it the minute it goes live.
5. Keep it fresh
Months later the Refresher tells you when the post is losing clicks and the Evergreen Renewer can prepare a careful update (a sharper opening, key takeaways, a better title and description, at most 100 words changed) for you to review. It leaves dated posts, such as match reports, alone. Why.
What stays with you
