Internal linking while you write, not as an afterthought

How OnlyAI SEO helps you link your posts together: live link suggestions in the editor, 1-click links, links from older posts to the new one, and sponsored or UGC link types.
Internal links tell readers and search engines which of your pages belong together. They are also the easiest SEO work to put off, because finding the right post to link to means remembering everything you ever wrote. The plugin does the remembering.
Suggestions in the sidebar
In the editor, the Link suggestions panel lists your other posts that your text already talks about, with the exact words to link and an Add link button. It compares what you are writing now, including unsaved text, with the titles and focus keywords of your published posts. There is no AI in it and no cost. Posts that nothing links to yet come first, because they need links most.
1-click links
1-click SEO adds up to three links to your own posts so the post has about three in all. Each goes on words that are already in the text, in a different paragraph, never in a heading or inside a link that exists. With OnlyAI Cloud connected, the same single AI request also picks related posts whose topic the text mentions in different words; each pick is checked to be a real published post and its words to be really in your text before it is used.
The other direction
A new post with no links pointing at it is hard to find, for readers and for Google. After 1-click SEO on a published post, the result lists older posts that could link to it, with the words that would carry the link. Add link in that post writes it, and WordPress keeps a revision of that post, so you can undo it from its history. It works in block-editor posts and in classic-editor posts. Pages built with a page builder are skipped, because a link cannot be written into them from outside the builder.
Big sites
The scan looks at your 1,500 newest posts and reads them a hundred at a time, so a large site stays light. A filter, onlyai_seo_link_scan_limit, raises or lowers the number.
Sponsored and UGC links
WordPress already has an option to mark a link nofollow. When the cursor is inside a link, a Link type button in the toolbar adds the other two values Google asks for: sponsored for paid and affiliate links and ugc for links your visitors wrote.
A rule of thumb
- Link on words that describe the other page, not on "click here".
- Two or three relevant links beat ten forced ones.
- Link to your cornerstone posts first (mark them in the Search and social panel).
- Every new post should get at least one link from an older post.
